Born and raised in Columbus, Indiana, Danny and John Murphy moved to Nashville in 1983 to pursue their love of music. Talented musicians, they have released multiple albums of original music and performed for years as the beloved Irish house band at Mulligan’s Pub in downtown Nashville.
Their creativity didn’t stop with music. John is also a fine art painter, known for his large canvas works, while Danny is an experienced restoration woodworker who has lovingly restored several Victorian-style homes in Nashville.
This unique combination of artistry, craftsmanship, and dedication to detail naturally evolved into Imagine That Painting — a family-owned business built on trust, creativity, and care.
